Ross Video provided a complete video production solution for the brand-new Chase Center in San Francisco for the Golden State Warriors. My job as part of the Rocket Surgery creative services team was to create engaging and eye-catching stats and score graphics for all the in-house LED screens.

This included a massive center-hung screen, 4 corner boards, 4 gantry boards, and LED ribbons. External screens included a giant plaza screen, lobby LED, and exterior ribbons.

My favorite graphic I created was a shot chart graphic, which used live coordinates data to create a live shot-tracker that would update with each shot on the basket. It also allowed an operator to choose a single player’s last shot by querying their jersey number against the data. This graphic created a dynamic camera move to fly to that spot on the court. Coordinates data was also used to calculate distance; a stat that didn’t exist in the data.
